What is Regulation Thermography? It is a non-invasive ADJUNCTIVE technique that can look at the causal level of symptoms. It has the ability to assess the functions of all your internal organs, glands and immune system, and it can identify areas that need support.
What can it tell me about MY body? It senses the presence of heavy metal toxicity, viruses, bacteria and yeast. It evaluates hormones. It assesses every tooth – very often chief concerns originate with the teeth even if there are no tooth symptoms. Problems with the teeth have been documented to affect every organ of the body. It also assesses the health of breasts by using 12 different criteria.
Can I just get a breast scan? We only offer full body scan to provide a more complete picture of your body’s current health. Many times the findings in the breast area actually originate from a different area of the body.
Can a thermogram be used instead of a mammogram? Many people do use it instead of a mammogram. However, it is like comparing apples to oranges. A thermogram is a functional test that evaluates breast health and how it relates to the body as a whole. Most tumors take years to develop to a size that can been detected on a mammogram. A mammogram is a structural exam that evaluates breast tissue.
Is a Thermogram like an X-ray or an MRI? No. They are structural tests that tell us about the structure. A thermogram shows the function of glands, organs, and the immune system. It allows us to see where the imbalances are in the body and determine whether further testing is warranted.
Does the Thermogram find a lump if I have one? This is a functional test. It shows the health of the tissue. It does not show an image of a mass like a structural test such as an X-ray or MRI. Ideally, we would like to identify unhealthy changes in an area before an unwanted growth develops.
Will it tell me if I have cancer? This is a functional test that reveals underlying disorders. It can detect patterns that indicate if serious conditions are likely to develop. It is FDA cleared as an adjunctive test and is used frequently by individuals who are interested in monitoring their health.
How long does it take to get the results? It can usually be obtained the same day.
Do you make recommendations after the Thermogram? Yes, you can work directly with Ridglea Wellness.
Where can I find more information about this technology? You may visit the Wellness tab on this website.
Do I need to arrive early to my appointment or fill out paperwork beforehand? Plan to arrive about 30 minutes early to allow your body to adjust to the office temperature before the scan. (Ladies, if you really feel the need to wear a bra before the appointment, please plan on arriving 30 minutes early to wait with it removed before we proceed). We ask that you fill out a patient information page and consent forms prior to your arrival.
What is the difference between camera thermography and the Thermogram? Camera thermography measures skin surface temperature so it can only show “hot spots.” Our technology gives an individual biochemical, functional picture of each of your internal organs. It is one of the only technologies that evaluates the lymphatic system, which is a foundational reflection of your immune system and the transportation system for fats. One test is not better than the other....they are different.
Can a Thermogram show problems with (fill in the blank)? Yes. The scan shows the function of your body as a whole. It can show how imbalances in one area can affect other parts of your body. For example, intestinal disorders such as food intolerances, yeast, parasites, fermentation, etc. can add stress to your immune system which can affect the health of your breasts. Your teeth can harbor viruses, bacteria and other organisms that can cause stress to your immune system and lymph system.
